Summer Tennis at Fessenden with Coach Julian
Julian Ramirez Luna is Tennis Director at the Fessenden summer camp in West Newton, MA, and 2026 was his third summer leading the program. Campers entering grades 2–6, from first-timers to experienced players, train in small groups by age and ability, with coached match play and daily free swim.

- June 14 – August 13, 2027
- 9 am – 4 pm (First Four: 9 am – 3 pm)
- Extended day 8–9 am and 4–6 pm
- $950 per full week (shorter weeks prorated)

Meet Julian Ramirez Luna
Julian is a Colombian tennis coach who came to the United States to play college tennis. As a player he won national junior titles in Colombia and became an NAIA All-American at Warner University, where he also earned a B.S. in Sports Management and an MBA. He is USTA High Performance certified, holds multiple PTR certifications, was named PTR New England Pro of the Year in 2016, and has worked as a USTA Coach Developer since 2020, leading workshops for other coaches.
A Family Coaching Team
Ramirez Luna Tennis is a family business. Four coaches, one shared approach: build a strong foundation and use tennis as a tool for life.
- Julian Ramirez Luna (Lead Coach): USTA High Performance and PTR-certified coach, NAIA All-American and USTA Coach Developer.
- Juan Camilo Ramirez Luna (Coach): Sports science professional with experience coaching players from beginners to the professional Futures and Challenger tours. Certified through the ITF, USTA, PTR and ITPA.
- Juan Alberto Ramírez González (Coach): Former professional player and South American Games team captain with more than 45 years in tennis. He has coached more than 40 players to U.S. college scholarships, including his three sons.
- Felipe Ramirez Luna (Coach): Former #1-ranked junior in Colombia who played four years of NCAA Division I tennis at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).
